Two mysterious Realme smartphones with model number RMX1993 and RMX1931 have passed through Bluetooth SIG website. Their listing suggests that the RMX1931 might be driven by a 2.84GHz Qualcomm chipset, which is the same clock speed as the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Therefore, there is a good chance that it could be the Snapdragon 855 SoC-powered smartphone that the company had recently teased.
Aside from that, the listing also mentions that the phone might pack 6.55-inch FHD+ display, ColorOS 6.1, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and in-display fingerprint reader. It also listed that the handset would be powered by 1,950 mAh battery, which is most likely incorrect. Moving to the Realme RMX1993, it has already acquired Wi-Fi Alliance certification, that confirmed Android 9 Pie and dual-band Wi-Fi on this phone.
In addition, given the fact that phone also passed through BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), it should make its debut in India. Since Reame India’s CEO Madhav Sheth has already lined up multiple surprises for December when the brand is expected to unveil the Realme XT 730G. The Realme RMX1993 with a Snapdragon 855 SoC should also launch at the same event. It is speculated that the RMX1993 is actually an option of the Realme Xt that recently debuted in China with model number RMX1991.
As mentioned, the Realme X2 recently launched in China. The handset features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution, dewdrop notch, and a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the device is a Snapdragon 730G chipset, paired with Adreno 618 GPU. It is available in two options 6GB RAM / 64GB storage, and 8GB of RAM / 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that is expandable up to 256GB. For software, it ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box with ColorOS 6.0 on top.
