Realme And Xiaomi Sold More Than 6 Million Phones In India Last Week

Realme and Xiaomi combined smartphone sales achieved the mark of 6 million units in the Indian market during the events of Flipkart and Amazon.

Chinese smartphone manufacturers Realme and Xiaomi have claimed that they managed to sell over 6 million units in the Indian market this week during Big Billion Days of Flipkart and the Great Indian Festival of Amazon.

Particularly, Xiaomi sold over 5.3 million devices in this country via the official website, Flipkart and Amazon India, including smartphones, smart TVs, earphones, fitness trackers, Bluetooth speakers, and power banks. The brand claimed that it sold over 3.8 million phones during the event.

Meanwhile, OPPO’s sub-brand Realme sold more than 2.2 million phones during the Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart and announced to be the leader in the smartphone category on e-commerce site on the event. It is worth mentioning that Realme has just entered the Indian market for over a year. However, it is fast growing among other popular phone makers in the country. The brand is gaining more customers due to its recent phones which have high-end specifications, but for affordable prices. For instance, the Realme X Pro is a good example alongside the Realme 3 Pro. Currently, the brand is preparing for the launch of the Realme X2 Pro with a Snapdragon 855 Plus, and 64MP primary sensor on the back.

Amid the upcoming Diwali festival by the end of this month (26 October), these phone makers could launch several more offers in order to boost their sales in the country.
