Oppo K5 Specs Confirmed To Feature Snapdragon 730G & 4,000 mAh Battery With VOOC 4.0

A new teaser poster on Weibo have revealed that the Oppo K5 will come with a gaming-centric Snadpragon 730G chipset and 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 4.0.

Oppo K5 is slated to make its debut in China on 10 October alongside the Oppo Reno Ace. The handset recently passed through TENAA with its key specs revealed. Now, a new teaser photo posted on Weibo confirmed that the Oppo K5 would be driven by a Snapdragon 730G chipset and feature the newly-announced VOOC 4.0 charging technology. It’s also expected to be the first smartphone from Oppo to come with a 64MP sensor at the back. On the front, it is said to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2,340 x 1,080p resolution and a dewdrop notch for a 32MP selfie camera. The Oppo K5 will arrive as a successor to the Oppo K3.

As per the listing on TENAA, the Oppo K5 will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable using a microSD card. Security-wise, it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will likely ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS on top. On the imaging front, it might feature a quad-camera system at the back that includes a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, a dedicated 2MP macro camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Keeping the phone up and running should be a beefy battery with 4,000mAh capacity and VOOC 4.0 fast charging solution support. The phone is listed to measure 158.7x75.2x8.6mm and weigh 182g. Sadly, we haven’t got anything regarding the phone’s availability and pricing. However, there are only less than two weeks until its official launch, so we should get more details soon. Meanwhile, the Reno Ace was recently confirmed to support massive 65W fast charging technology. It’s also tipped to come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel and a Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.
