OnePlus 8 Alleged Surfaces Online With Snapdragon 865 & 8GB RAM

After OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8 has alleged passed through Geekbench with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, Android 10, and 8GB RAM.

The next-gen OnePlus smartphone, the OnePlus 8 has alleged passed through Geekbench with the codename GALILEI IN2025. Several specs of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone have been revealed on the listing. It is listed on Geekbench on 12 February with Android 10. In addition, the handset is also powered by a chipset with codename ‘kona’, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 865 SoC. For now, the brand hasn’t given any word about the OnePlus 8 launch date. However, an affiliate page on Amazon.in has been up recently, suggesting the arrival of the upcoming OnePlus duo in the country.
OnePlus 8: Specifications & Availability
The listing on Geekbench shows a phone with GALILEI IN2025 codename, which is speculated to be the upcoming OnePlus 8. According to the listing, the phone packs 8GB RAM and boots Android 10 out of the box. It is powered by a chipset codenamed ‘kona’, which might be the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 SoC. With that setting, the handset scored 4,276 points in the single-core test and 12,541 in the multi-core test.
Last month, a different smartphone with a similar codename (GALILEI IN2023) made its appearance on Geekbench. This phone was said to be the 8 Pro. It is also powered by the same ‘kona’ chipset and packs 12GB RAM. The handset boots Android 10 to take care of the software side of things as well.
The two upcoming OnePlus smartphones are tipped to make their debut in either late March or April. Aside from the above specs, the two are also said to come with 120Hz Quad-HD+ Fluid Display and wireless charging support.
