OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition To Launch On 10 October, OnePlus Teases

After the launch of OnePlus 7T, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently claimed after the collaboration with British carmaker McLaren that it is planning to launch a new edition of 7T Pro. It is the company that also developed the OnePlus 6T Edition in 2018 named "OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition". OnePlus also announced the date for the launch of its brand new McLaren Edition smartphone to be 10 October. At the event, the company is going to launch the OnePlus 7T Pro along with McLaren Edition. If leaks are true, the phone developed under the partnership with McLaren is going to be the "OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition".

The company has announced through a tweet and also shared a press release that the OnePlus' next smartphone is OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition which will be unveiled in an event on October 10. Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, under the collaboration with car manufacturing company McLaren, said that the company has been inspired by the brand spirit for a long time now for its innovation.

Lau added that the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition received an incredible reaction from the public, they loved seeing companies collaborating to push boundaries. He also said they were thrilled to keep on the collaboration. It is not yet confirmed that the McLaren Edition will come up with OnePlus 7T or the OnePlus 7T Pro. As per the leaks, OnePlus 7T Pro will get the McLaren Edition treatment.

The McLaren Edition will get mostly the same features like the standard model, except the phone gets a frosted glass at the back panel and on the edges gets Orange accents, which highlight the edges. According to the leaks, the phone will come with Snapdragon 855+ processor, and the smartphone gets a curved screen. Also, McLaren Edition will offer a triple camera setup at the back and in front, it gets a pop-up camera for selfies.
