New Official Poster Shows Front Design Of The Realme X50 5G

Last week, Oppo’s sub-brand Realme shared several posters of its upcoming Realme X50 5G, which showed the rear design of the phone. The posters also confirmed that the handset would carry a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a quad-rear camera cluster. Now, the brand shared a new photo, which reveals the front design of the X50 5G.

Previously, a poster shared by Realme showed that the Realme X50 5G would come with a punch-hole display. There will be a pill-shaped cut-out in the top left corner for two selfie cameras. However, this new photo gives us a better look at the hole and also shows the thin bezels surrounding the smartphone’s screen on three sides - top, right, and left.

The Realme X50 5G will arrive on 7 January in China and the brand has confirmed several specs of the phone, including two-day battery life, enhanced VOOC 4.0 fast charging technology, and Snapdragon 765G chipset with 5G connectivity.

The Chinese company hasn’t revealed the whole specifications of the phone, but a recent leak suggested that the device will carry a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a beefy 4,500mAh battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port.

In terms of camera, the Realme X50 5G will sport a dual-camera lens setup, including a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the front. Around the back, it will get a quad-camera system, consisting of a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP telephoto unit, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP dedicated macro camera. 

The leak also revealed the possible prices of the handset in China. They are as follows:

6GB RAM / 128GB storage - CNY 2,199 (around Rs. 22,600)

8GB RAM / 128GB storage - CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 25,700)

8GB RAM / 256GB storage - CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 28,800)

As for the Realme X50 5G launch date in India, we speculate that Oppo India will bring the phone soon after its Chinese launch.
