If Samsung Does Not Ship The Galaxy Fold By the End Of May, The Pre-Orders Will Be Canceled

Samsung’s spokesperson said that the emails were to comply with the US’s regulations

There is another bad news about Samsung’s foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold. If the company fails to ship them at the end of this month, the pre-orders will be automatically canceled.

This news was published by M. Brandon Lee, a YouTube creator who is also one of those ordering the phone:

More importantly, there has been no new update from Samsung about when it will ship the Galaxy Fold, which was scheduled to be delivered on the 26th of April. However, after a few reviewers found out that there were problems with the display, it was extended to an unknown date in the future.

What people who had the chance to experience the phone said was it had a very fragile screen. To answer these problems, Samsung rescheduled the launching date and withdrew all of the samples it had released.

This email may suggest that the company has had no luck sorting out the issues, which means people who pre-ordered may not see the phone any time soon.

While AT&T said that the phone would be released in June, Samsung announced that updates would arrive in the coming weeks.

In response to the emails sent to customers, Samsung’s spokesperson said that the emails were to comply with the US’s regulations.

Samsung said that it was making progress in improving the phone, but it was unable to give out a specific date on which the phone would be officially released. Because of this, customers were sent the emails as the company wanted them to know what choices they have in this situation.
