Huawei Nova 6 Confirmed To Launch On 5 December On Latest Teaser Poster

In a new teaser poster, the upcoming Huawei Nova 6 is confirmed to arrive on 5 December with a Kirin 990 5G SoC, 60MP sensor, and 5G connectivity.

Huawei is expected to release its flagship Huawei Nova 6 in China on 5 December, according to an official teaser posted recently. After the Huawei Mate 30 series, the upcoming Nova 6 will be the next 5G smartphones from the Chinese giant, as you can see in the poster. On the front, it will feature a hole-punch display that features a small cut-out to house two selfie cameras, one of which might have a 105-degree field of view and the other one will support Selfie Super Night Scene 2.0. It is safe to assume that Huawei will pack its latest Kirin 990 5G chipset on its upcoming flagship and it is also the company’s only 5G chipset available for now.

Huawei Nova 6: Expected specifications

Recently, the Huawei Nova 6 passed through China’s 3C and the listing revealed that the handset might support 40W SuperCharge quick charging solution. Moreover, a recent leak suggested that the phone would flaunt a 6.4” Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a relatively thick bezel at the bottom. We expect to see the Nova 6 to ship with Android 10 pre-installed and the company’s EMUI atop. For photography, there should be a 60MP main sensor, coupled with a 2MP macro camera and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle shooter.

On the front, the upcoming Nova 6 is said to feature a dual selfie camera cluster, including a 32MP main sensor and a 12MP snapper for taking selfies and video chats. It should be fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery, which supports fast charging technology. As for memory configurations, the device might be available in multiple variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage without a microSD card slot. Design-wise, it could come in Blue and Red color variants with a gradient finish. As the launch date is getting closer, we should get more details very soon.
