Honor 20S With 6-Inch Screen Appears On Google Play Console Listing

The upcoming Honor 20S is likely to flaunt a smaller display than its siblings, which is indicated by the "S" suffix in its name.

Honor 20 lineup has 4 devices including the Honor 20i, however, it seems to have an additional member soon. Accordingly, a phone alleged Honor 20S appeared on a listing at Google Play Console several days ago. According to the listing, the phone could be in the same segment as the Honor Lite. Additionally, the handset probably comes with a higher-end chipset compared to its siblings.

The listing revealed that the upcoming phone will flaunt a 6.0-inch display though its resolution remains unknown. In addition, the “S/SE” suffix also indicated that the handset will have a smaller display. Interestingly, the device is tipped to run Android 10 Q, which means this phone could debut after a stable launch of the latest operating system of Android. Moreover, the phone is said to come with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage. In the design department, the handset is likely to sport a dewdrop notch display design.

Also, other leaks from China showed that the upcoming handset will be packed with a big 4,000 mAh battery with the 20W fast charging support. Under the hood, the phone could be powered by a 7nm Kirin 810 SoC, the latest mid-range chipset from Huawei. So far, the details of the imaging capacities of the phone have not been revealed yet. However, the handset could feature a 48MP primary sensor on the back and a 32MP selfie camera on the front. It is likely that the company could label the phone Honor 20 SE but the listing from Google Play suggests otherwise.

To recall, the Honor 20 is currently available in India for Rs. 29,999. The phone sports a 6.26-inch LCD display with 1,080 x 2,340-pixel resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 980 octa-core chipset, paired with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. In the camera department, the phone features a quad rear camera setup including a 48MP sensor, a 16MP sensor, and two 2MP sensors. On the front, it comes with a 32MP selfie camera. The handset is packed with a 3,750 mAh battery with the super charging support.
