WhatsApp Finally Goes After Outside Companies Abusing Its Platform

WhatsApp officially begins to take legal action against outside individuals and companies that violate the terms of service on its platform. WhatsApp's parent company Facebook,has just announced additional plans to be applied in the coming months. The main purpose of these supplements is to increase the health of the platform. The company will pursue mischievous and abuse activities that cannot be tracked down within its platform.
On Tuesday, WhatsApp has just confirmed it will take legal action against those who abuse its service on December 7 this year. Companies or individuals who have made false claims about finding ways to cause havoc on the messaging platform will be pursued to the end.

In a report earlier this year, WhatsApp said it was developing a machine learning system capable of detecting and eliminating users who violate its policies such as creating multiple accounts on the platform or sending mass messages with bad intentions. Moreover, this system is also capable of reviewing and evaluating past transactions with problematic and negative behaviours to prohibit 20% of accounts created for malicious purposes right from the registration step.
According to a report released last month by Reuters, the Facebook-owned platform is strill struggling to deal with abuses on its platform. Although WhatsApp has introduced restrictions in recent months, the tools using to bypass some of its restrictions are sold in India for under $15 on this platform.
WhatsApp seems to have embarked on the first steps of pursuing bad players. Typically, WhatsApp recently sent letters to marketing companies that have taken abusive actions its foundation during the past time.
