If Your Search Results Are Something Unqualified, Google Will Inform You

A new feature is being updated to Google search engine today, which will inform you when it considers your search results as something untrue.

You will receive a warning message from Google before it can suggest some better substitutes.

So now each time you are not provided with any quality results, you will receive a warning message from Google before it can suggest some better substitutes.

Actually, this is not a brand new idea because you will already be informed if Google could not find any results from your search. However, this situation is getting more and more infrequent due to the extension of the internet and the rising level of Google’s ability to analyze and index the web.

Google 3
"It looks like there aren't any great matches for your search."

This can be exemplified by the Googlewhack - a search contest in which participants use only two words to get a single result in one hit. Moreover, when Googlers use the search engine, they will be offered recommendations for better spelling and phrasing to mitigate unsatisfactory search results. This is a specialized feature of the search engine that has been added perhaps right from the start.

But Google cannot avoid making mistakes all the time, and they admit this weakness openly. With the help of some seemingly infinite chasms of the Internet out there, users can still reach several toxic search results.

Fortunately, Google asserts that the users will not see the feature very often - as a matter of fact, it is made to provide better results for what you are looking for. And the feature is undoubtedly useful for all of us. Knowing that the answer is unavailable out there can sometimes be as precious as getting the answer in just one click.
