Samsung has recently revealed that it will offer more than 1200 jobs for young Indian people that study in institutions such as IISCs, NITs, and IITs.

Are you looking for a tech job after graduating from college, or do you know anyone that does? Because there’s this good news we would like to share with you. Samsung has recently revealed that it will offer more than 1200 jobs for young Indian people that study in institutions such as IISCs, NITs, and IITs around India.
The Korean giant wants to employ new people for its Research & Development centers placed in Noida, Delhi, and Bengaluru. The company will hire them to work on AI projects as well as projects related to user interface, networks, communications, data analysis, IoT, image processing cloud, deep learning, user experience, and machine learning.
Samsung is looking to recruit students from a wide range of streams, which include IT, instrumentation, mathematics and computing, electrical engineering, electronics and communications, as well as computer science.
According to Samsung India’s HR head Sameer Wadhwa, in 2019, they have the plan to employ more than 1200 engineers and the firm has extended 340 pre-placement offers to those from top institutions like IITs.
Previously, the Korean tech giant said it plans to recruit 2500 engineers by next year, and in 2017 and last year, it hired 1000 engineers each.
Wadhwa added that as a leading firm in the technology field, Samsung has always wanted to nurture talents by giving them the best exposure. He expressed the firm’s pride in the milestones their engineers in India achieved and claimed their commitment to employing more talented people from India.
Samsung is eyeing IITs in Bhillai, Jodhpur, Mandi, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Gandhinagar, Indore, Tirupati, Pallakad, Roorkee, BHU, Kharagpur, Guwahati, Mumbai, Chennai, Kanour, and Delhi.
