PUBG Generated Nearly Rs 6,500 Crores In Revenue Last Year

PUBG Corp made $920 million (roughly Rs 6,360 crores) last year.

It’s safe to say that the game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is kind of addictiveness. The famous game has broken the all-time record when it set the unbelievable record of reaching over 1.4 millions of total concurrent players, beating the previous record of Dota 2. Notably, it had become the best-selling game on a single platform for 2017. Thanks to the incredible success, the producer standing behind this battle royale game, PUBG Corp. has earned close to US$1 billion, which estimated to roughly Rs 6,500 Crores in term of revenue last year.

Asian countries are maintaining as largest markets for PUBG, which generated over half of its revenues, going ahead of North America. The exact number of gross revenue reportedly reached US$920 million (roughly Rs 6,360 crores), of which US$310 million (roughly Rs 2,140 crores) was determined as profit amount at the same period. Keep in mind that these citing numbers did not belong to PUBG Mobile made by Chinese Tencent Games.

Besides, the company had launched a beta mode of the version called PUBG Lite. It’s said to be a separate version and not require the players high configuration to enjoy this pack.
