Now You Can Play Several Video Games On Snapchat

On Thursday, Snapchat took part in an event in California and announced that the latest feature on the platform now would give users the ability to play games right in messaging section.

At least six games have been customized to play for Snapchat, which includes an in-house produced game called Bitmoji Party. Bitmoji was firstly developed by Prettygreat, a gaming studio that Snap has bought for $8.6 million. Most of the games are designed to its primary audiences, even a 13-year-old student or a 35-year-old man.

From its earliest days, Snapchat's main demographic has consisted of millennials.

Snapchat is said to earn money from video advertisements lasting 6 seconds last year, which viewers could not skip if they found annoyed. Without a doubt, Snapchat will bring them into the games soon.

Will Wu, a company executive in gaming service, has been positive with the gaming service’s future. He cited that mobile gaming industry was evaluated at $77 billion, absolutely a massive number. Talking about the advantage of Snapchat gaming service, he pointed out that the platform would make users to have an interactive playing session.

The founder Evan Spiegel created the multimedia messaging app in 2011.

Snapchat finds struggled to gain the number of customers for years, and entertainment services are branched out in order to create other ways to make money from its base of users. In some recent reports, it’s counted to a significant number of 185 million users using Snapchat daily.
