New Leaked Images Suggest Samsung Working On A New Laptop

It looks like Samsung is making a new laptop. This prediction comes from images of something likely to be a Galaxy Book S, showing a slim device with few ports, shared by the frequent Twitter leaker, reporter Evan Blass on Friday. In the images, we can also see the laptop’s trackpad and keyboard with some color like grey-purple.

It appears that the laptop will feature a USB Type-C port on its left edge, along with a camera on the screen’s top edge. We couldn’t see many other details from the pictures, and they didn’t reveal the top of the product either.

The Korean giant did not respond immediately to the comment request.

Samsung Galaxy Book2, the company’s previous Galaxy Book laptop, is a detachable 2-in-1 computer that’s similar to the Surface Pro by Microsoft. The device, priced at Rs 69,666, comes alongside an S Pen and a backlit keyboard cover. In addition, Samsung has a Notebook line for its Windows laptops. Earlier 2019, the Korean company released the Notebook 9 Pro, which is categorized as an ultraportable 2-in-1 device although its keyboard folds flat instead of detaching.

The leak surfaces just a few days ahead of Samsung’s next Unpack event where it will unveil the Galaxy Note 10. And a couple of days ago, the company released a teaser video of its next smartwatch and tablet. In the short clip, we could see a number of indeterminate shots of the next tablet and smartwatch. At the end, the video indicated the dates July 31 and August 5 for the tablet and the Galaxy Watch, respectively. As per the company’s claim, the unveiling will take place on its Galaxy website.
