Microsoft Advises Users To Stop Using Windows 10 Mobile And Move To iOS or Android

There's bad news for those who are still using Windows 10 Mobile. Reportedly, Microsoft will officially end support for this OS on December 10, 2019. This also means that the operating system will continue to work but won't be updated after Dec 10, including security updates, the backup and restore ability and other services.
Recently, the tech giant has released "Windows 10 Mobile End of Support: FAQ" for those who still use Win 10 Mobile. In particular, Microsoft advises users to move to iOS or Android devices as the OS will no longer be updated or get security fixed by the company. The post said:

Originally released in 2015, this OS has a total of 4 versions to date, respectively codenamed 1511, 1607, 1703 and 1709. Launched at the end of 2017, the version 1709 will be the last publicly available update for this OS.
Windows 10 Mobile
As per Microsoft's FAQ, Window 10 mobile will end of support for both the regular and enterprise version. For users of this OS, the company detailed in the post:
However, this is not a surprising move as the lead of the Windows experiences team Joe Belfiore used to say that Windows 10 Mobile wouldn't be a priority for the company. Belfiore tweeted back in 2017:
