Google has partnered with Vodafone to launch a dedicated phone line to the service so that they can have access to Google Assistant

Google Assistant is by far the world’s most powerful voice assistant, but a lack of Internet connection will render it obsolete. So to help those in India that need the assistant’s help but do not have connection to the Internet often, Google has partnered with Vodafone to launch a dedicated phone line to the service so that they can have access to Google Assistant.

In its blog post, Google introduced some initiatives especially made for the Indian market in its Google for India event, and the new phone line is among some of the most interesting. In the country, hundreds of millions of people only have 2G or a very slow Internet connection, or worse, no connection at all.

Now with the deployment of the new phone line, anyone wants to take advantage of it by dialing 000 0800 9191000 for an internet-independent and entirely free way to get the answer they want from Google Assistant.

Right at launch, the service will support both Hinglish and Hindi. Users can rely on the virtual assistant of Google for anything, from traffic details, weather forecast, to sports score.
