Gooogle's new functions come after a year full of scandalsfor collecting users’ geolocation data. According to Google, the new feature is said to arrive in the coming weeks.
This significant move comes as users are increasingly concerned about their privacy online amid several infamous scandals of famous social networks and internet platforms. Users now can easily customize their own date for deleting information.
Following a string of them, Google is under pressure with many investigations from European countries and the US. However, this is still plenty of other data tracked by Google that isn’t included in this auto-delete service. For instance, there’s your voice and audio activity as well as your YouTube search and watch history. Over time, we all expect Google to add a similar feature as soon as possible.
