China Bans All Government Departments From Using US-Made Technology

US companies will have to cry over this law includes Dell, HP, Apple, and Microsoft.

In revenge for the US prohibition of consuming Huawei’s products, China has decided to impose trade sanctions against this country. According to the Financial Times, all government departments and administrative bodies have been commanded to remove computer gear originated from other countries. Additionally, it is estimated to probably take China no more than three years to replace all made-in-the-USA computer systems by their domestically-made ones.

As recorded before, there have been many times that China both explicitly and implicitly regard the US-made technology as its government's pet peeve. However, this country seems to be more urgent this time because of the aim to narrow its geopolitical picture. Together with it, Russia is also one of those countries trying to nationalize their technology.

In spite of creating a lot of problems for the users, it seemingly guarantees the safety and privacy of all domestic technology.

Furthermore, in its process of using solely domestically-made technology, China is basing on its 2017 law of cybersecurity to gain effective control over the Internet and cyber data on a national scale. In spite of creating a lot of problems for the users, the law has key important legislation that guarantees the safety and privacy of all domestic technology.

It is likely that those companies will have to cry over this law includes Dell, HP, Apple, and Microsoft. The latter has even had an irritable relationship with China. By any means, what constitutes a national product is still a similar one in other countries'. It is illustrated by an example from the Financial Times that Lenovo, a famous corporation of China, is using chips from Intel of the USA and Samsung hard-drives of the Republic of Korea.
