When Apple introduced the new Mac Pro, it also said that those who find themselves in need of moving the device often can have wheels with it. At that time, the company did not say how much these wheels cost. But given the hefty price you have to pay to get the rest of the work station, do not expect Apple will come easy on you for these accessories.
You can order the Mac Pro now and it turns out that the ability to easily roll it from one place to another will set you back Rs. 28,264. So that means you have to pay around Rs. 7,000 for one wheel.
This amount of money sounds like nothing in comparison with what you have to pay for all of the work station’s part. The Mac Pro itself will set you back $52,599 (around Rs. 37,18,400). And do not forget the Pro Display XDR with a price of $4,999 (approximately Rs. 346,397).
If you are interested in an upgrade for the display, you will have to pay an addition of $999 (around Rs. 70,622) for the nano-texture glass. And do not forget the cleaning cloth specially made to clean the monitor. That is not all. Since you will need something to hold the display so that it can stand on your desk, there is the controversial Pro Stand with the price of Rs. 70,622.
Apple has been asked why these wheels have to cost so much, and if there is any kind of genius engineering features in them, but the company has not answered any of the questions.
