Amazon India got high score regarding the financial health and the use of the latest tech with a forceful reputation, it also has a strong reputation.

Based on a survey by REBR (Randstad Employer Brand Research) this year, Amazon India is the country's most attractive employer brands with Microsoft India at the second place and Sony India at the third. The company got high score regarding the financial health and the use of the latest tech with a forceful reputation, it also has a strong reputation.

The REBR 2019 also reveals the ten most attractive employer brands in India which are Dell (10th), Samsung (9th), Infosys (8th), Nestle (7th), Larsen & Toubro (6th), IBM (5th), and Mercedes0Benz (4th),  standing at the fourth to tenth place respectively.

On the other hand, Google India has been honored into the Hall of Fame category in 2018 because for three consecutive years, it won the coveted title. 

Covering 75 percent of the world economy, the Randstad Employer Brand Research looks into 32 participating countries as well as over 2,00,000 global respondents.

Indians prioritize employee and finance benefits as the first and foremost driver choosing a job, then coming to the balance between work life versus personal life along with job security.

Paul Dupuis - the MD and also CEO of Randstad India - said that employer branding plays an essential role in today economy which helps not only companies reaching out for talented and skillful candidates but also employees seeking a brand that fits their career path the most.

Besides, the finding noted that more than half of Indians (55 percent) choose to work for strong and reputed MNCs (multi-national companies) while only nine percent of the labor force prefer to work in a startup environment.

The reason behind people's preference for large MNCs is that these organizations can strongly commit to financial stability, job security as well as a clear path of career development to their personnel.

Also, Telecom, ITeS, and IT sections as well as E-commerce, FMCG, and Retail sections are the top favored majors in the Indian workforce which count for 67% of the total, other majors like  Automotive and BFSI come after with 65-66%.
