Intel Unveiled 10th Gen Core Processor At Computex 2019

On Tuesday, at the 2019 Computex trade show in Taiwan, Intel announced the 10th Gen Intel Core chips. In addition, the giant chipmaker also gave more new information about the company's innovation program called "Project Athena", which will help boost mobile computing.

The 10th Gen Intel Core chips are currently shipping, and people expect that original equipment manufacturers will finish their products by the end of the year. So that means the computers equipped with this new chip will not come to the market until the holiday season 2019. Client Computing Group's Senior VP and General Manager Gregory Bryant, said in a keynote talk at Computex:

Computers with the 10th generation core processor will provide a high performance and processing speed thanks to the support of artificial intelligence with the scale of its Deep Learning Boost (Intel DL Boost).

The processor is designed based on the fresh Sunny Cove core architecture, the company's 10-nanometer manufacturing process technology, and Intel's new graphics engine of the 11th generation.

The 10th generation Core processor will come with variants from Intel Core i3 to Core i7, featuring as many as 8 threads and 4 cores, maximum graphics frequencies are up to 1.1 GHz and turbo frequencies up to 4.1GHz.

This new 10th-generation Intel Core processor is likely to make computer manufacturers more comfortable and free in terms of design by reducing silicon footprints but still improving to the highest performance and power at the world-class standards.
