A Hyderabad man working as a museum owner has made a car in the shape of the Coronavirus to help to spread awareness of the danger of the pandemic.

The one-seater car is powered by a 100cc engine that can run approximately 40 km. Sudhakar Yadav seems to have a special interest in cars as the museum he owns is also dedicated to showcasing the vehicles.

He shares that the model of the car took 10 days to complete and the team hoped that they could spread awareness and encourage the public to stay indoors and adhere to the lockdown orders.

He said the car would make it to the streets for the first time today and he hoped people would understand the message the team wanted to deliver.

This is not the first time Sudhakar came up with an odd-shaped car to spread awareness about social issues. He said some of his previous works include a car that looks like a condom to raise awareness on AIDS, one shaped like a helmet for road safety, and another that looks like a cigarette to encourage people to quit smoking.

Yadav said the inspiration for the odd car came from the Coronavirus-shaped helmets the police worn in Bangalore. This amusing show with people wearing helmets that look like the virus is accompanied by horns and gongs to increase the effect.

Sudhakar Yadav is an inventor and he is best known for being a Guinness World Record holder for making the biggest tricycle in the world. He said that the local police had been supportive during his journey to make the car.

The police also asked him to showcase his invention to raise awareness but Yadav wants to do more. He plans to donate the car to the authorities to maximize the effect it brings.
