Asus Has Launched New Gaming Routers And Gaming Monitors In India

On Wednesday, AsusTek Computer Inc. said that they are planning to expand their business in the gaming field. Due to this, the company would like to launch different devices such as gaming routers, gaming monitors as well as similar products in India. As per the company's data, its gaming line-up contributes nearly 10 percent profit to its total gain in the country. On Thursday in India, ASUS launched four lifestyles & gaming products including an RGB router, FHD monitors for gaming and a 3-in-1 Triband router.

Price and Availablity

Regarding prices, the company has set the price for its Lyra Voice as INR 24,990; on the other hand, the company will sell Republic Of Gamer Rapture GT-AC2900 at the price of INR 23,900, whereas the Asus VG258QR & VG278QR will be sold at the price of INR 26,500 and INR 31,500 respectively. The company has formed a partnership with Flipkart and Amazon; thus, the customers can purchase all these products from Amazon. But on Flipkart, only RGB monitors will be available, which are also available on Amazon.

A 3-in-1 router named Lyra Voice gets pre-loaded Amazon Alexa voice assistant as well as a Bluetooth speaker mounted with stereo speakers. Also, there is a pair of microphones, with 360-degree far-field voice detection, which helps to detect low voice.

Asus said in a statement:

Company's second product, ROG Rapture GT-AC2900, is a gaming router. According to the company, this is the first RGB gaming router in the world to be made to satisfy different the needs of gamers who play games on console, PC & mobile in mind.

Last but not least, the VG258QR  &  27"  VG278QR are FHD gaming monitors. The VG258QR and VG278QR get the support of AMD FreeSync & Nvidia G-Sync respectively and also feature ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology which makes the gameplay smoother than ever by making objects sharper in motion and gives a severe and unprecedented visuals experience.

The company does not have any plans to manufacture these products in the country. For now, Asus imports most of the products' components directly from Taiwan.
