You Can Totally Slice A Flying Arrow Like In The Famous Movie Bahubali 2: The Conclusion

If you think it's impossible to catch or slice a flying arrow because it is too fast, you may want to think again after watching this slow-motion video.

There are many scenes in those heroic movies when we wonder how real that fighting scene was in this film, or how warriors caught a flying arrow in that one. Or like the epic arrow fight scene in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, played by Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, in which they fight a bunch of guards with swords using only their bows and arrows. Have you ever questions if those guards could have been fast enough to slice those arrows and save their own lives?

And then we have slow-motion videos that not only allow us to see fast actions more clearly, but they also let us enjoy the thrill by giving us time to slowly absorb the entire action. And The Slow Mo Guys is a YouTube channel, run by two guys Dan and Gav, with a lot of slow-mo videos of different things. And in one of their most recent videos, the pair tried making a slow-motion video of slicing a flying arrow.

You Can Totally Slice A Flying Arrow

In the video, which got over 4.4 million views, Dan successfully sliced the arrow although it was flying really fast. The slow-mo scene was satisfying to watch, the entire action took only 0.009 seconds, meaning Dan had to be lightning-fast to be able to slice the arrow before it touched the board. Under the extreme force of the sword, the arrow was broken immediately, but what’s really stunning happens right before that sword touches the arrow when you see the man raise up the sword then swing it as fast and strongly as he could. Enjoy it for yourself here.
