U.S Embassy Introduces Mobile Application To Help Indian Students

The U.S Embassy unveils a mobile app in order to help Indian students get correct and comprehensive information about studying on the U.S at higher education level.

The U.S Embassy introduced an application on May 12 to provide authentic information for Indian students who want to enroll in the universities in the U.S by themselves.

It is known that the U.S Embassy has planned many other methods for the interest of the students in India urging to go to the universities in the U.S where the economy has received approximate US$7.5 billions from the money of Indian students as well.

Said the U.S Embassy’s Deputy Cultural Affairs Officer, Karl. M. Adam while introducing the mobile app of the EducationUSA India that will give accurate and comprehensive information about enrolling in the universities in the U.S.

He added that the U.S Embassy has also combined all information of the EducationUSA into a Fanpage on Facebook.

Currently, the EducationUSA operates 7 student advising centers in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Banglore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai in India, according to Adam. Adam said:

As mentioned above, the U.S’ economy has been directly benefited to US$7.5 bil from the Indian students.

According to the estimates, the Indian students took up more than 17% share of the overall number of international students in the U.S, the second biggest community in this country after China.

According to the officials of the U.S Embassy, the U.S welcomed 1 million students from other countries and one-fifth of whom are Indian.

The Indian student population enrolling in the U.S universities has increased by two times over the past ten years, according to officials at the embassy.

Last year, 1,96,000 Indian students took park in the U.S universities, up 14,000 students year-on-year.

As per the Embassy officials, the rate of approving student visa reaches 90%.

Regarding the education system, according to Adam, the U.S government provides a multi-disciplinary way to the U.S education at the higher education level.
