Tesla, This Lady Tried To Refill Your Electric Car With Gasoline

The Internet is such a crazy place that anything unusual or different from what we’re familiar with can easily go viral. And lately, a lady has gone viral in a video recording her trying to refill her Tesla automobile. You may be asking what’s unusual about that. I’ll tell you, the poor middle aged lady tried to put gasoline in her electric Tesla.

The video was recorded at a gas station by a few men who sat in another car behind the lady’s. As you can hear from the video, there was a lot of laughing from the guys when they watch the lady searching for a gas inlet. After searching and apparently trying all buttons she could, the lady stopped and decided to call for help with her mobile phone.

At that moment, one of the men got out of their car, walked up to the lady and told her about the car. The lady looked surprised at knowing about her Tesla car, the two eventually laughed, and she thanked him.

To be fair, it was not a stupid mistake when the lady tried to refill the car with gasoline. When talking to the guy, she could be heard saying “It’s not mine,” so she probably had no idea that was an electric car, hence her effort in the video.

Tesla made its first electric car in 2008, the Tesla Roadster. The car is powered by lithium-ion battery cells, which can help the vehicle run through 320 kilometers on one full charge.

Looking a bit further, this situation is proof that Tesla is not as well-known as the company or we may assume. Although the company and its CEO Elon Musk are making headlines across the globe, there are still people that do not know about the company or its electric automobiles.
