PUBG Mobile Tour India 2019 Has Started Off, Rs 1.5 Crore Of Price Pool

The winner of this tournament will be awarded Rs 50 lakh.

PUBG Corp along with Tencent Games have already announced the upcoming event PUBG India Mobile Tour 2019 – which is expected by many players across the country. According to the organizers, a total of Rs 1.5 crore will be funded for this tournament, thanks to the sponsorship of Oppo. The event has taken place on July 1 and will close in October in Kolkata.

To be a participant, an Indian player is required to own a Tier Platinum 5-above account or level 20, at least. The first multi-tiered tournament with the regional finals will be held in four cities, including Jaipur (Group A), Guwahati (Group B), Pune (Group C), and Vizag (Group D). For more information, there's no restriction to the number of players in a group or geographical region, but a participant is able to register once. Players from any city in the country can select one out of those cities for the registration.

Prior to this, Tencent had launched the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019.

All matches will be held from July 1 to up to August 25th, depending on each group. The grand-final match will be set to happen in October in Kolkata.

The “Online Playoffs” will include top 500 teams from every group, and 20 best teams will attend the group finals. Then 4 teams who have the most outstanding performances will go to Kolkata for the grand finale. In terms of tournament’s gameplay, there’re a total of four maps for players to compete with each other’s team in several rounds. Some rounds will be a mix of both First-Person and Third-Person perspective modes.

As for the grand finale price, the winner of this tournament will be awarded Rs 50 lakh, while the second- and the third-winning team will take over Rs 20 lakh and Rs 10 lakh, respectively.
