Under the hood, the EV from Lexus will boast a modern environment, offering up-to-date features like gesture controls and AR-powered info systems.

It's time for car manufacturers to put their electric car production in action. Many global players have been accelerating such a plan, and Lexus is not an outsider as the luxury brand already unveiled the first prototype of its own electric vehicle at the biennial event auto show named Tokyo Motor Show. Dubbed as LF-30 Electric Concept, the company has set a vision for next-gen electric vehicles in the near future.

Owning a futuristic theme, Lexus carries a vehicle's "hoodless" design with its prototype, which is formed with gull-wing doors (aka DeLorean) as well as the glass roof. Under the hood, the company creates a modern environment, offering up-to-date features like gesture controls and AR-powered info systems. For drivers and passengers who have the front seats, they will feel a lot more comfortable while the car is moving along the streets. As for other passengers, they'll have backseats featuring "artificial muscle technology."

Drivers of this car will be able to opt in the autonomous mode option when they take the steering wheel, alongside something called "advanced posture controls." As for their line of sight, every wheel and the torque to it now will be adjusted by the system thanks to electric motors inside them. In addition, the LF-20 offers wireless charging solution based on drivers' daily schedule with the help of the AI. Furthermore, they can use voice commands to customize their preferences.

Lexus also showcases other perks, for example, its Lexus Airporter. This drone is slated to deliver a package from your house's doorstep to the trunk of a car. As planned, a Lexus-branded battery-electric vehicle will make a debut as early as next month. The company is reportedly working on a dedicated platform for BEVs and a plug-in hybrid system, not to mention that all of Lexus's vehicles will come with an electric version by 2025.
