Indian Air Force To Introduce Its Official Mobile Game

The Indian Air Force has entered the gaming market with its own mobile game, which will feature a vast collection of aerial vehicles

Video games are now a craze, and the whole gaming industry is booming. The Indian Air Force doesn't miss the chance to be a part of it and has decided to do things in its own way. If you are interested in the Military and also happen to be an enthusiastic gamer, this is good news for you. The Indian Air Force has claimed that it is releasing its own mobile game- available on both iOS and Android.

On its Twitter account, the IAF posted a trailer hinting at what will be on offer. The game will be released some point at the end of July.

The game trailer commences with a scene of an aircraft (seemingly the Russian-made 'MIG 21'), with a pilot standing by its side. The pilot bears a strong resemblance to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman when looking at his iconic mustache which has been a trend in India.

In earlier 2019, Pakistan kept Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman in custody after he shot down a Pakistani F-16 in a dogfight before landing the plane on the other side of the borderline. Indian hailed him as the country's hero for his dignified manner in handling the stressful situation.

The game will feature a vast collection of aerial vehicles including helicopters, fighter jets, and bomber planes. The players can virtually fly these impressive vehicles via screen controls and engage in combats.

With such reference to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman and as a product of the IAF itself, the game is sure to be a hit. Plus, packed with amazing stunts and real-life skills, IAF mobile game will be even more appealing to youngsters.

You will be able to download the IAF mobile game from July 31, for both Android and iOS. Only the single-player mode is available at launch, but IAF is planning to develop and include a multiplayer mode in the future. This seems to be IAF’s way of targeting the young demographic, not only for entertainment but also for awareness-raising purpose. The young can learn about aerial vehicles of the Indian Air Force, and in turn, being motivated to join the force. Perhaps it could be a fun alternative for the well-known PUBG to some young Indian.
