For A Perfect Beard, 20% Of Men Wouldn’t Have S.e.x For A Year

20% of men said that they valued facial hair to the point that they would be willing to go one year without sex to have a perfect beard.

A study asked 2,000 male participants on how they value their facial hair. And 20% of them responded that they treasure it to the point that they would be willing to go one year without sex to have a perfect beard.

The research also discovered that, for a perfect beard, two-fifths of respondents said they would go one year without a drop of coffee or spend one night in prison. Meanwhile, 18% said they would shave their head in exchange for the dream beard.

Undoubtedly, the findings are interesting. Who would have known that men value their beard this much?

However, it is worth noting that going celebrate for one year won’t guarantee you your dream beard. And the same goes for quitting coffee, shaving your head, or spending a night behind bars.

The study continued to point out how guys seemed to be overly obsessed with having a beard. 73% of male participants said that they thought men would be more attractive with facial hair. On the contrary, only 63% of women agreed with this opinion.

For guys who plan on growing their beard, it took quite a lot of maintenance and effort to have a perfect beard. It doesn’t have the same growth rate and lurking behind those beards are disgusting things.

A study from 2018 found that 50% of men have poo in their beards. The research conducted by the Manchester Metropolitan University and Fragrance Direct involved using cotton swabs to get samples from men’s beards. The beards were then analyzed to uncover what is beneath the hairy surface.

And lo and behold, the study found that 47% of the samples contained Enterococcus spp. A micro-organism that is also in the human bowel as well as fecal matter.
