Drones Are Saving People's Lives In Africa

While many countries in the world still wonder about the rules for applying drones in life, they have done amazing jobs in Africa

The convenience of drones has yet to be fully exploited; many companies and startups around the world are trying to apply this technology to many different purposes.

Governments in many countries remain concerned about national security by bringing more of these pilotless aircraft into life. Many developed countries are still considering and adjusting the laws regarding the use of these devices. This can take a long time because this is a complicated issue. However, the application of drones in Africa is currently hugely successful and way ahead of the rest of the world.

Although there are still many legal obstacles, drones have great potential in supporting human life

Amazon and many other companies intend to bring these unmanned aircraft into their deliveries. Some scientists believe that drones will be a practical support in emergency rescue and war missions. In India, they are said to be used in inhumane or dangerous situations.

In Rwanda, a country located in Africa, drones have been used effectively. Typically, Zipline, a start-up company specializing in manufacturing and researching drones based in California. Zipline has partnered with the country's government to use emergency medical delivery drones. They also plan to transport blood to remote hospitals when their stock is exhausted.

Since January last year, Zipline has provided people with 5,500 units of blood. Instead of waiting for hours to receive blood, people in remote areas only need to wait for about 25 minutes. According to what the company estimates, their work has helped more than 5 million people with serious problems. Zipline said it is planning to bring this model to North America.

Besides, Uhuru Labs also made similar contributions. Frederick Mbuya founded this company in Tanzania. It can be said; he was the first person in the country to realize the value of applying technology drones to land surveys. He provides cheap and easy-to-use tools for entrepreneurs to survey map topography, agricultural land and other studies based on the data collected by them.

Usually, to be able to survey land, startups must use communication planes with a lot of complexity and expense. Uhuru Labs offers a much cheaper and more convenient method. These models are not only built for start-up companies that the government can also use to implement their plans more economically and quickly.

When the rules for unmanned aircraft are completed in the future, we can see that they play a massive role in life. It will be available in almost every field including home delivery and road patrols.
