Amid COVID-19 Lockdown, Kid Hilariously Uses Dad’s Fish Tank As A Swimming Pool

Couldn't go out because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the kid decided to use his dad’s fish tank as a makeshift swimming pool and practice his skill.

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, many public places have been shut down to contain the spread of the virus. Governments are asking their citizens to stay inside their houses, avoid crowded areas, and practice social distancing to protect themselves as well as the community.

However, not everyone is used to being in the same place for 24 hours a day in many days in a row. And this kid is a prime example. Before the lockdown, 13-year-old Jaden Melton could go to the swimming pool and swim freely. But now, because of COVID-19, he couldn’t go outside.

So, guess what? The kid decided to use his dad’s fish tank as a makeshift swimming pool and practice his skill.

Jaden is actually a member of the swimming team Okotoks Mavericks and has to practice every day. However, the COVID-19 outbreak has forced all sports events in the area where he lives to be postponed indefinitely.

This is why, his coach who is also his dad, has given the team a small task, to express their wish to go back to practice through a small video. Instead of sitting in front of the camera to talk about his passion, Jaden has decided to use his dad’s fish tank. And the one who caught him on camera was his 10-year-old brother, Jude Melton.

The Melton family’s aquarium is 1.2 meters long and can hold about 340 liters of water. Before making the video, the aquarium was cleaned, filled with clean water. All the bulky and sharp decorations were also removed.

The temperature of the water is around 28 Celsius degrees, which is a perfect temperature for swimming. Jaden also cleaned himself before and after taking the video. And most importantly, no fish was harmed.
