An Indian Man Apparently Has Acres Of Land On The Moon By Spending Only Rs 9,700

Without any awareness of the availability of the OST agreement, several people still ink such a deal as they hope to be a landowner on the Moon.

Being a landlord on the Earth is pretty cool, but earning just a piece of land on the Moon is something much cooler. Surprisingly, the Hyderabad inhabitant Rajeev Baagdi, who is simultaneously an astrologer, a numerologist as well as a stock market, claims that a total of five acres of lunar land has already belonged to him as he bought the ‘real estates’ more than a decade years ago. Recently, he came out with his plan of visiting it in the future.

Back in 2003, a New York-based website called Lunar Registry has been offering land properties on the Moon, and Baagdi was amazed at the idea of having his own part there. As a result, he accepted to spend $140 (roughly Rs 9,700) with the effort of making this crazy idea become a truth. Baagdi, at the time, chose to opt-in a piece of land in the Mer Imbrium region, which was listed on the website. According to Baagdi, one of his cousins also a landowner, of course, on the Moon. One amongst the most notable reasons why Baagdi had been willing to buy it, is that his descendants would be thankful for such a vision.

So, here’s the most considerable thing: Although Baagdi has a prospective about his futuristic plan, it should be noted that owning land on the Moon is practically impossible. In 1967, the Outer Space Treaty has taken place after the Soviet Union and the US signed a negotiation claiming that all the nations are not allowed to own any piece of the moon or asteroid.
