Amid India Lockdown, Airtel Offers Free Access To E-Book Platform

Bharti Airtel is giving free access to its Juggernaut Books e-book platform with thousands of books available. In a press release to announce the decision, the telecom giant said that with this move, it hopes to help people who have to stay indoors during the India lockdown.

Bharti Airtel’s Chief Product Officer, Adarsh Nair, announced the initiative saying that Airtel and Juggernaut were trying to provide people with more options while practicing social distancing. And reading would be the best way to do it. Airtel would keep on innovating and offering customers with exciting digital content.

On Juggernaut Books, users can find a lot of novels and a-books with a wide range of genres, from love and romance, classics, diet, fitness to business, history, and politics.

Back in late 2017, Airtel bought a strategic stake in Juggernaut Books as an effort to extend its content ecosystem and bring to its customers world-class digital content.

Besides fictions, users can delve into interesting novels and non-fictions like The CEO Factory from Sudhir Sitapati, Gooogd Economics from Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo, and Kohinoor from William Dalrymple. There are also exclusive stories from some of the most famous personalities of India including Twinkle Khanna, Sunny Leone, Sourav Ganguly, Devdutt Pattnaik, Narayan Murthy, and Rajdeep Sardesai. The application for the e-book platform can be found on both iOS and Android.
